The YP Forum in London this October will be the first in-person meeting of the BU's growing network of young and developing professionals in export credit insurance

The Young Professionals Forum is a unique opportunity for the future professionals of our industry to deepen their knowledge across a wide range of key topics in trade finance and credit insurance and develop career skills and explore new ways of thinking while building their network of likeminded individuals from around the globe.

The meeting will take place over 2 full days on 6th & 7th October, hosted by LIBERTY at their London offices

  • Sessions will focus on core industry themes including: climate, sustainable finance and ESG, the future of project finance, political risk and digital enablement, as well as career development insights and inspiration from a panel of the BU's most experienced individuals.
  • Plus innovation and skills workshops focussing on design methodology, behavioural economics, as well as an educational excursion to the Lloyds Market of London.

Attending this meeting is FREE for Berne Union Members.
Participants will be awarded a Berne Union Certificate of Continuing Professional Development to add to their portfolio

We encourage all BU Members to involve their young an junior colleagues in the YP Initiative and to consider sending a rising star as a delegate to this in-person meeting so that they can help contribute to building not only the export credit insurance industry of the future, but also the BU of the future!

The Young Professionals Group is the BU's initiative for young and early-career professionals working for BU members. It's objective is to support the development of the next generation of leaders in export credit, while also helping feed innovation and fresh ideas upwards to the leaders of today.
