Representatives from Asian Export Credit Agencies (“ECAs”) gathered in Tokyo to attend the 11th Regional Cooperation Group (“RCG”) CEO meeting held from January 14th to 16th

Senior leaders of 7 of the largest asian export institutions (EFIC, HKECIC, KSURE, NEXI, SINOSURE, TEBC and THAI EXIM) led discussions on energy sector dynamics and geopolitical risks. As the center of the global energy market shifts eastwards they observed the responsibility of asian financial institutions in contributing to 'UNSDG 7' to provide sustainable and modern energy for all, and the effectiveness of developing a common understanding among the Berne Union RCG members in order to promote opportunities for cooperation in this sphere.
