Who collectively deliver around USD 2.6 trillion of payment risk protection to banks, exporters and investors annually - amounting to 12% of global cross-border trade

Credit insurance protects exporting companies, investors and financial institutions against losses as a result of commercial credit and political risks thereby supporting the smooth and unhindered functioning of cross-border trade and investment, with benefits across the real economy

Projects financed by Berne Union Members achieve strategic priorities in key areas such as clean energy, urban and rural development and access to power, across the globe in both developed and developing markets

Is to actively facilitate cross-border trade by supporting international acceptance of sound principles in export credit and foreign investment

We do this by providing a forum for professional exchange, sharing of expertise and networking amongst members, as well as through engagement in collaborative projects with other stakeholders from across the wider community of international finance.
