Hygge abounds in the Danish capital city as EKF gave a warm welcome to Berne Union members for the 2017 Spring Meetings of the ST/MLT/INV Committees
Almost 200 participants from 54 Berne Union member organisations participated over the three day programme of business meetings, knowledge exchange and socail occasions.
The central theme for the meeting was 'Trade Barriers' with keynote addresses coming from two former Danish Politicians – Uffe Ellemann Jensen (Minister of Foreign Affairs, 1982–1993) and Joergen Oestrom Moeller (State Secretary at the Danish Foreign Ministry: 1989 – 1997).
Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, sits on the coastal islands of Zealand and Amager. It’s linked to Malmo in southern Sweden by the Öresund Bridge. Indre By, the city's historic center, contains Frederiksstaden, an 18th-century rococo district, home to the royal family’s Amalienborg Palace. Nearby is Christiansborg Palace and the Renaissance-era Rosenborg Castle, surrounded by gardens and home to the crown jewels.
