Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI) is a public joint stock company owned by the UAE federal government and its founders, the government of the emirates of Abu Dhabi, the government of the emirates of Dubai, the government of the emirates of Ras Al Khaimah, the government of the emirates of Fujairah and the government of the emirates of Ajman.
ECI was established in 2018 as part of the UAE's 2031 vision, which aims to implement economic diversification policies, and reduce the dependence on oil resources as a source of income. ECI is dedicated to fostering sustainability and non-oil trade to support the resilience and diversification of the UAE economy, while empowering businesses to conduct seamless global trade by providing robust credit solutions and expert market insights.
