ECA Ukraine insures:
- the export of all works and services of Ukrainian origin
- the export of goods according to Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity codes, taking into account the restrictions established by Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Financial Mechanisms for Stimulating Export Activities“ (products with high added value. Not raw materials. No restrictions on services and works)
- up to 85% of the value of the foreign trade contract

Private joint-stock company «Export-credit agency» provides the following services to exporters:
✓ Insurance of pre-export financing (loans): portfolio-based export credit insurance and export credit insurance with individual risk assessment
✓ Insurance of receivables (foreign economic agreements): both insurance of individual supplies or turnover insurance
✓ Insurance of bank guarantees and counter-guarantees
✓ Investment-related insurance: investment loan insurance and insurance of direct investments in Ukraine and investments within Ukraine against war and political risks

Private joint-stock company «Export-credit agency» (ECA Ukraine) was established in 2018 in accordance with Law of Ukraine “On Financial Mechanisms for Stimulating Export Activity“ dated 20.12.2016 No. 1792-VIII. ECA Ukraine is incorporated as a joint stock company, being a legal entity subject to private law, operates on a commercial basis, with the state represented by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as its sole founder and shareholder. The state-owned interest in the Company’s authorized capital is 100 percent. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, acting through the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine as its designated management body, manages corporate rights owned by the state in the ECA’s authorized capital.

ECA Ukraine is a special-status insurer operating on the basis of a license (License No. 1 dated January 06, 2023 issued by Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine) for ECA Ukraine business that includes insurance, reinsurance, and provision of guarantees. The National Bank of Ukraine exercises state regulation and supervision of the Company’s business.

ECA Ukraine became an observer in May 2022 and a full member of the Berne Union in April 2024.
