On January 1st., 2022, Luis Antonio Ramírez Pineda took office as Chief Executive Officer of Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior (Bancomext) and Nacional Financiera (Nafin).
Mr. Ramirez has a recognized career of more than 25 years in the Mexican public service. During the last three years, he has served as Director General of the Mexican Institute of Public Health and Social Services for Public Workers (ISSSTE).
Mr. Ramirez obtained a degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a master’s degree in Social Policy and Planning from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
