Country Risk Specialist Workshop
This workshop, curated by the Eurasia Group, is targeted at the Country Risk Specialists. It will focus on scenario building and methodology in the context of political risk, reflecting on the current US elections.
Alex Kazan is managing director of the Global Strategy group and directs many of Eurasia Group's strategic partnerships. Alex works closely with the world's biggest companies and investors to help them understand, anticipate, and plan for geopolitical change, addressing geopolitical developments and their impact on business and the markets. Alex oversees several strategic initiatives for Eurasia Group, including data and analytics and investment partnerships. Alex has pioneered quantitative approaches to political risk, including Eurasia Group's Political Risk Country Portfolio, a systematic comparative framework for analysing the market pricing of political risk across emerging markets.
The presentation will be followed by an interview / Q&A session conducted by Jørn Fredsgaard Sørensen, Director of Country, Bank & Sector Risk at EKF, and then opened to the wider Q&A.
