Berne Union to Host Capacity Sharing Marketplace in India
The Berne Union Capacity Sharing Marketplace is a platform connecting together all institutions and individuals involved in cross-border financing and risk sharing
The CSM project is initially focused on developing a better dialogue between the worlds of trade finance and development finance, promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration on joint initiatives.
The long-term objective is to faciliate better opportunities for cooperative financing of multi-sourced projects and innovative financing solutions which may ultimately contribute to an increase in realised projects with economic and developmental impact.
The next meeting will take place in Hyderabad, India, on 24th October. Participants are invited from Development Institutions (DFIs, MDBs) Export Credit Institutions (insurers and lenders) and Private Sector (insurers, banks, project sponsors).
The meeting will focus on climate finance, blending and innovation in infrastructure. Cross-institutional discussions will be led by the presentation of practical case studies, highlighting innovation and cooperation in multi-sourced finance structures.
