What does the post-COVID landscape for finance of trade and economic development look like?
Understanding how international finance is changing
Developing practical opportunities for cross-sector cooperation
Capacity Sharing Marketplace Workshop: 7th + 10th December
The objective of the workshop is to look ahead to the post-COVID landscape for international finance, to get a sense of the long-term structural adjustments and explore emerging opportunities for cooperation in support of trade and economic development.
Our panellists and presenters will discsus how the different spheres of public and private sector trade and development finance institutions will emerge from the COVID crisis, and how we can seize the positive potential of adjustments during the crisis. Focus presentations will address how we approach 'financing the green transition' and 'domestic liquidity and finance for SMEs'.
This is an interactive workshop and will involve guided small-group interaction in-between the meeting days, so that we can develop together meaningful practical approaches.
The workshop is free to attend and open to all practitioners working in trade or development finance.
